Recovery Brief · Range Lights Incident
On the evening of November 4th, 1979, activity was observed across the full eastern perimeter of the grounds. By morning, eight items had been recovered from various locations between Hole 9 and the broadcast tower. Each has been cataloged, assigned a specimen number, and cleared for distribution through the Pro Shop. The club makes no claims regarding their origin.

Specimen MCC-RL-002
The Crewneck
Heavyweight fleece. Recovered from the clubhouse lost-and-found. No member has claimed it.
Specimen MCC-RL-003
The Long Sleeve
Thermal weight. Found in the cab of Hawkins’ truck. Engine was still running.
Specimen MCC-RL-004
The Range Towel
Turkish cotton. Club emblem embroidered. Found at the base of the broadcast tower, damp despite three days without rain. Returned to inventory after decontamination protocol.
Note: Towel tested positive for trace minerals not found in Presidio County soil samples.

Brass Markers
Set of four. Each engraved with coordinates that do not correspond to any known location.

Field Journal
Leather-bound. 47 pages filled. Handwriting matches no current or former member.
Specimen MCC-RL-008
Patch Set
Embroidered. Four patches recovered from a canvas bag near the eastern fence line. Designs depict symbols not found in any club documentation. Cleared for member distribution after review.
Note: Canvas bag also contained a folded note reading ‘4698.’ Nothing else.
