“—been watching the 7th fairway for three nights now. Every night at 11:59, same thing. Light comes up from the ground, not the sky. Ground. Stays for maybe forty seconds. I tried walking toward it last Tuesday. Got within [SIGNAL LOST]”
“This is member four-seven-two. I need to report that my scorecard from yesterday’s round is… wrong. I shot an 84. I know I shot an 84. But every hole reads 11. Every single one. That’s not… that’s not a number you can shoot on a par 4. I’ve checked it nine times. The pencil marks are in my handwriting.”
“[STATIC] …the mare came back. She won’t cross the [STATIC] anymore. Whatever Hawkins saw out there, she saw it too. Horses don’t forget. [RECORDING ENDS]”
