The 11:59 Phenomenon

Every night at 11:59 PM Central Time, the lights above the eastern ridge behave in ways that the original survey team declined to document. Club policy since 1971 has been to close all service one minute before midnight. The bar shuts at 11:58. The greenskeeper locks the cart barn. The broadcast tower switches to a frequency no one applied for. What happens in that final minute has never been officially recorded — though the incident files continue to grow.

The Course

Eighteen holes. One anomaly. The course was surveyed in 1971 by a team that filed a single report before disbanding. No construction records exist for what was built in the months that followed.
